Job Description
Residential Property Inspector
Suffolk, VA
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Property Inspector to join House Buyers of America. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating properties as part of our acquisition process. Your expertise will assist in identifying necessary repairs and ensuring smooth construction and settlement tasks. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $85,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed due diligence inspections to assess property conditions and identify specific repairs needed.
• Create comprehensive reports and capture images that document property conditions.
• Collaborate with construction and settlement teams to facilitate tasks in the field.
• Verify the completion of punch-out items and maintain detailed records of the construction process through photographs.
• Perform daily inspections of homes to ensure project progress is on track.
• Manage the installation and removal of lockboxes and other marketing materials.
• Deliver equipment to properties as necessary.
About You:
• You possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• You have strong communication skills and are proficient with computer applications.
• A Licensed Home Inspector in MD, DC, or VA is preferred, but not required.
